Fans and Friends
I started this blog for my friends to read and hopefully others would follow. There does seem to be a small band of my friends checking in from time to time, so I guess I should start writing something once or twice a week.

Aussies On Tour Meet Up in K-Town
The biggest bonus I have gained from following the Socceroos since WC06 are the friends I have made.
From these friendships I now have friends all over this country, and on a number of occasions these guys and gals have stayed at my place. Last weekend I had the opportunity to crash at someone else s place.
I flew to Cairns for business in Far North Qld. My friends Chris and Ant let me stay a couple of nights last weekend and again Thursday night before I flew home.
We talked a lot about Football, Socceroos and the A-League. Had more than a few beers and generally enjoyed each others company, ( at least I think they enjoyed my company).
My point is, get out there and follow the Socceroos to away games, meet new people who have exactly the same interests as you.
Or indeed follow any team or sport (read V8 Supercars Geoff), get out of the house, of your arse and enjoy life.
I can’t believe i did’nt start years earlier.

More than a few beers, and for good measure some bourbons, rums and even a jagerbomb!!!
The Mad Cow will be etched in our memories for some time
Had a blast mate, you’re always welcome here (even though Ant did give you a couple of “Guyza-type” tongue lashings)… next time bring Veronica as well…
