How it works
TravelSIM works like any other mobile phone service with one difference.

Getting a local SIM card is a minefield. Assume you do choose a good service, it is only good for the country you are in, what about when you go the next country…Roaming! And the next… Roaming!

You are going to Europe for a six week holiday… Italy, France, UK, Germany, Belgium… A once in a life time trip.
You take your normal phone and say you are careful and keep calls to a minimum.
You might call home once every few days for 10 minutes. Maybe friends and family call you once every few days. You need to make a few calls to book hotels, day trips, taxis, flights etc. You might make 20 minute calls home to family to tell them how much fun you’re having.
Well.. You just spent around $800 on phone calls!

The worst thing is you only get this bill a month or so after your home having spent up big on duty free on the last few days of your holiday.
